AllStar Industries appoints new CEO

Bertrand L. Pelletier has been appointed CEO of AllStar Industries Inc. Bertrand brings over 25 years of experience in international business worldwide. Prior to the appointment, Mr. Pelletier was president and CEO of Advanced Card Systems Inc. of Arlington, Texas, a company specialized in Plastic Card Printing, Equipment for the Plastic Card Industry and Card Based ID Solutions. AllStar Industries Inc. assists U.S. and foreign companies expand their business overseas through direct investment, acquisitions, partnerships, and through direct sales, distribution and licensing agreements.

AllStar Industries Participates in CAP Export USA Seminars in France

Over 1,000 French small and medium sized businesses participated in the CAP EXPORT USA Seminars held in nine regions of France during the last week of June 2007. Accent was put on the opportunities for the French companies to develop their business and succeed in the USA.

AllStar Industries, with the presence of its President & CEO Bertrand Pelletier, participated in the U.S. panel in Bordeaux and Montpellier. The presentation focused on the creation of a typical small business in 1999 in Arlington, Texas in the plastic cards and ID systems that developed into a $5m business with over 40 employees in 2007. Promotion of the North Texas business environment and particularly the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex was also emphasized.

Afternoon one-on-one meetings with French businesses and entrepreneurs allowed more practical evaluation of each of the international projects and appropriate guidance.

Cap Export USA, initiated by the U.S. and French Commercial counselors (CCE) was organized with the support of several French and bi-national Organizations including the Regional and Urban Chambers of Commerce and Industry in France (CCI), UBIFRANCE and the 6 French “Economic Missions” of the USA, COFACE, and the 20 US Chapters of The French American Chamber of Commerce.

Selected projects and companies (100) will be offered canvassing opportunities in the US in November 2007, followed by attendance to the Miami “Symposium des Amériques”

Sandia Imaging, a division of Advanced Card Solutions inc. of Arlington, Texas, has retained AllStar Industries to manage existing markets and develop new markets for Sandia Imaging’s line of products to the financial, access control and ID Markets.

Covered by the agreement are all foreign markets with the exception of Mexico and Chile, and Europe where the DATASCAN INTERNATIONAL Group, majority owner of Sandia Imaging, has already established distribution. AllStar Industries Inc. management has over 10 years successful experience in Plastic Card based solutions for the Identification, Access Control and Financial Transactions Markets.
